I recently read a statistic that 53% of the World's population live on LESS than $2 a day. WHAT? And I complain about what we "sacrifice" so that I can stay home with my kids. We are RICH. Crazy rich in comparison to the majority of the world. And somehow I still find myself discontent. Having a worldly perspective is crucial in understanding the body of Christ. I can only pray that we demonstrate the importance of this perspective to our children. This is HUGE for me. I recently read a statistic that 53% of the World’s population live on LESS than $2 a day. "What's this big green state? What's this small red state?" I'm alternating between answering and tuning her out. "Trying to comment on a blog here, Nina!" See? Irony.
