If we truly believe that God forgives us and that He does not condemn us for sins that we have repented of and asked His forgiveness for, then there truly is no shame. This quality in your life may have a greater impact on your kids than you'll ever be able to measure. So let them know, as you see appropriate, how you practically apply God's promises to your life! I often feel inadequate to be the one giving them guidance. I am so thankful that I can lean on Eph. 3:20 and know that God's word is at work in their little hearts.
